This is a pre-mixed loading buffer with two tracking dyes for Agarose and non-denaturing Poylacrylamide Gel Electrophoresis.
The buffer contains Xylene Cyanol FF and Orange G as the standard tracking dyes, an Editic acid salt for chelating divalent metal ions to inhibit metal-dependent nucleases and a simple polyol compound to increase the density of the sample when mixed with it.
The Xylene Cyanol FF and Orange G migrate at approximately 4,000 bp and 50 bp on 1% TAE Agarose gel respectively.
